  1. The founders getting together

    Florian Miguet, Julien Guéritée (thermophysiology PhD) and Pierre Mouette (IoT specialist) join forces to create the reference in intelligent thermoregulation. All three decide to establish the company in Lyon in France, a historically textile region where the first e-textile talents were emerging.

  2. The very first patent and award

    The very first technological patent filed by Clim8® is registered. The brand new Clim8® heating system wins the ISPO Award 2017, embedded in a baselayer developed in-house. Clim8® also becomes a finalist in the Innovation World Cup Series.

  3. The recognition

    Clim8® is launching its first intelligent heated technical baselayer on the market, in collaboration with the iconic brand Odlo. The first version of the Clim8® mobile application is released on this occasion.

    Heated motorcycle gloves developed with the famous French brand IXON will follow. Clim8® technology wins an innovation award at CES in Las Vegas and another ISPO award, and is thus recognized by the sports industry and the tech world.

  4. Brand new lab

    The team goes a step further by creating its laboratory in Lyon, ready to accommodate test machines, a thermal chamber and an R&D team that is growing month after month.

    Clim8® collaborates with the American brand Mechanix Wear on heated work gloves, opening up two new markets in one fell swoop: North America and workwear.

  5. Scaling up

    Clim8® continues to conquer new markets and collaborations with leading brand partnerships in every sector of the global outdoor market.

    From workwear introducing Carhartt x Clim8® heated vests, to skiwear with Eddie Bauer and Gordini gloves, to powersports with BRP and with several new brands joining forces with Clim8® to offer their customers the best in heating performance and comfort.

  6. Heading for cooling and the ARMETISS project

    In 2023, Clim8® takes a strategic step by joining the European ARMETISS combat clothing innovation program. Selected as a thermoregulation expert, the team develops its first active cooling systems to ensure soldiers' performance and protection under extreme thermal stress.

  7. Launch of the Clim8® Advanced range

    Clim8® expands its offering and makes intelligent thermoregulation even more accessible and affordable with the creation of the Clim8® Advanced range. This new line offers standalone, non-connected solutions that integrate the essentials of Clim8® thermal engineering, for automatic and intuitive regulation without needing a mobile app.

  8. Adidas partnership and Cortina 2026 Olympic Games

    Consecration on the international sports stage: Clim8® technology is chosen to equip certain Adidas-sponsored teams at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. Several medals follow, confirming the effectiveness of its thermal systems at the highest level of world competition.
